BMW X4 F26 Mileage Blocker

For BMW X4 F26 applications from 2014–2018, this mileage blocker offers selectable distance recording during off-road, closed-track and dyno testing only. The first connection starts in Freeze. Subsequent selections are remembered, allowing the operator to retain the chosen profile between ignition cycles.

Compatibility and installation

The F26 application on this page covers 2014–2018 and needs no dashboard or connector photo submission. The module is plug and play, so no wiring needs to be cut or soldered. Installation instructions are supplied after purchase.

Short and Long packages

A standard Short cable or a Long cable can be selected. Long provides both the quick-disconnect connection and a dummy plug, which is used for the normal connection when the emulator is disconnected.

Operating profiles and memory

Four quick high-beam flashes change the operating profile. Count the hazard flashes to identify the selected card: one for Freeze through four for Bypass. The module starts in Freeze at first connection and stores later selections through ignition cycles.

What is the speed-display exception?

For software updated in 2018 or later, the limited mode displays one tenth of actual speed. The example is 50 km/h actual and 5 km/h displayed. All assistants remain operational.
