BMW 3 Series F30/F31/F34/F80 Mileage Blocker

For BMW 3 Series F30/F31/F34/F80 applications from 2012–2019, this mileage blocker offers selectable recording profiles during off-road, closed-track and dyno testing. Short and Long remain the only cable choices. The longer arrangement includes a quick-disconnect connection and dummy plug; the plug provides the normal connection when the emulator is taken out of use. Installation instructions follow your purchase.

Operating profiles and memory

On first connection the module is in Freeze. Four quick high-beam flashes change the profile, and one, two, three or four hazard flashes confirm the corresponding card below. The last selected profile is remembered after switching the ignition off and on.

Does the 2018+ note mean only cars built after 2018?

It refers to the software update, not production year. In that updated limited profile, the speedometer displays 10% of actual speed: 50 km/h is shown as 5 km/h. Other driver assistants work normally.
