Short and Long packages

For this F20/F21 listing, Short provides the standard cable arrangement. Long adds cable length, a quick-disconnect connection and a supplied dummy plug. Use the dummy plug when you want the normal connection with the emulator disconnected.

Operating profiles and memory

Four quick high-beam flashes select the profile. The hazard indicators confirm profiles one through four with the corresponding number of flashes. Initial connection activates Freeze, and the module retains your last choice across ignition cycles.

Does a 2018+ update change the displayed speed?

Yes, in the updated limited mode the cluster shows one tenth of actual speed. A real 50 km/h is displayed as 5 km/h. The other assistants remain operational.
