Recommended tools: plastic trim tool, painter's tape to protect the console. Fully reversible – unplug to return the vehicle to factory state.
- Only the engine Auto Start/Stop function is affected. All other systems – driver assistance (ACC, lane keep, parking sensors), remote start, infotainment and climate control – keep working as normal. The ESS button still works: press it to turn Start/Stop back ON for the current drive.
