The CEL mileage blocker is designed for compatible Buick Encore vehicles manufactured between 2016 and 2022. It provides two selectable operating modes for off-road, closed-track and dyno testing. The module uses a plug-and-play connection, with no cutting or soldering required. Installation instructions are supplied after purchase.
Intended exclusively for off-road, closed-track and dyno testing. Not for use on public roads or to misrepresent a vehicle’s mileage or history.
Your Buick Encore must have a Body Control Module (BCM) with seven connectors. Vehicles with an eight-connector BCM are not compatible. This product is not suitable for the Buick Encore GX.
The emulator connects to the BCM’s white connector, not the grey connector. Confirm the connector count and colour before ordering. If unsure, contact our support team with your vehicle’s model, production year, instrument cluster photograph and clear photographs of the BCM and its connectors.
The module connects at the white BCM connector using its supplied wiring harness. No wire cutting or soldering is required. Follow the installation instructions provided after purchase.
When first connected, the emulator starts in Freeze mode. It remembers the last selected mode after the vehicle is switched off and restarted.
Mode 1 — Freeze: stops odometer mileage accumulation while active. The speedometer briefly displays 20 km/h to confirm selection, then returns to showing the actual vehicle speed.
Mode 2 — Bypass: restores normal mileage recording. The speedometer briefly displays 40 km/h to confirm selection, then returns to showing the actual vehicle speed.
Cruise control and normal speedometer operation remain functional, apart from the brief speedometer indication used to confirm mode selection.
Important: each complete Freeze → Bypass → Freeze cycle adds exactly 300 metres to the odometer, even though the vehicle is stationary. Account for this increment when recording your test results.
Switch modes only with the vehicle stationary and the engine running. Use either of these controls:
Preferably complete the chosen sequence within four seconds. Check the brief speedometer indication to confirm the selected mode before beginning your test.
Short Version — €350: includes the emulator with a shorter wiring harness for plug-and-play connection at the BCM.
Long Version — €400: includes the emulator with a longer wiring harness, a quick-disconnect connector and a dummy plug. To stop using the emulator, disconnect it at the quick-disconnect point and fit the supplied dummy plug. This restores normal vehicle operation without requiring you to disconnect the harness from the BCM.
No. This product requires a seven-connector BCM and connects to its white connector.

Installation instructions are sent after purchase. For assistance, visit our Support & FAQ page. Worldwide shipping and a 12-month commercial warranty are available.
Two modes: Freeze and Bypass
With the vehicle stationary and the engine running, use either 4 high-beam flashes or 3 traction-control button presses, preferably within 4 seconds. The speedometer briefly indicates 20 km/h for Freeze or 40 km/h for Bypass, then returns to actual speed.
