The Jeep Grand Wagoneer mileage blocker gives the WS model three distance-recording settings for off-road, closed-track and dyno testing. Installation Behind the Instrument Cluster

The installation uses plug-and-play connections behind the instrument cluster. There is no need to cut or solder the vehicle wiring. Installation instructions are supplied after purchase to guide you through connecting the product.

The Short version provides the standard plug-and-play connection. Choose the Long version if you want a quick-disconnect connector and the option of using the included dummy plug when the emulator is disconnected.

Freeze, Limited and Bypass Modes

• Freeze — 0% distance recording: mileage accumulation is completely stopped while this setting is active. A single confirmation flash indicates Freeze.
• Limited — exactly 10% distance recording: one tenth of the distance travelled is recorded. For a 100 km test distance, the recorded distance is 10 km. Two confirmation flashes identify Limited.
• Bypass — 100% distance recording: normal mileage recording is restored. Three confirmation flashes indicate Bypass.

These percentages describe distance recording, not the speedometer reading. Actual vehicle speed is displayed in every mode. Cruise control and the other vehicle functions continue to operate normally across all three settings.

How to Change Modes

Start the engine, then flash the high beams five times within four seconds to move to the next operating mode. Count the confirmation flashes to identify the selected setting: one for Freeze, two for Limited and three for Bypass.

The sequence is Freeze → Limited → Bypass → Freeze. On its initial connection to the vehicle, the module starts in Bypass. Once another mode is selected, it remains saved after an ignition cycle. Switching modes does not add an extra distance increment to the odometer.

Versions and Package Contents

Short version: includes the plug-and-play mileage blocker with its standard connection arrangement.

Long version: includes the plug-and-play mileage blocker, a quick-disconnect connector and a dummy plug. Disconnecting the emulator at the quick connection and fitting the dummy plug restores normal vehicle operation without the emulator. This avoids returning to the connection behind the instrument cluster each time you want to disconnect it.

Which setting is active when I first connect the module?

Bypass is the initial setting, with normal distance recording. After you change it, the module remembers your last selection through an ignition cycle.

Will Limited mode change the speed shown on the dashboard?

No. Limited records exactly 10% of distance, while the speedometer continues to show actual speed. The same actual-speed display is maintained in Freeze and Bypass.

How can I identify the selected mode?

After five high-beam flashes within four seconds with the engine running, the confirmation signal flashes one, two or three times for Freeze, Limited or Bypass respectively.

Do I need the Long version to access all three modes?
