The Chevrolet Trailblazer GMT31XX mileage blocker offers Freeze and Bypass operation for controlled vehicle testing. It is intended for the 2015–2022 model range with a compatible seven-connector BCM. Confirm the connector arrangement before ordering: the production year alone does not establish whether the module fits your vehicle.
Use exclusively for off-road, closed-track and dyno testing. Do not use this product on public roads or to misrepresent vehicle mileage or history.
This Trailblazer application requires a Body Control Module with seven connectors. A BCM with eight connectors is not supported. Check the actual unit fitted to your vehicle before choosing either available version.
The connection point is the white BCM connector. Do not use the grey connector. If you are unsure which arrangement you have, send CEL the vehicle model, production year, dashboard photograph and clear photographs showing the BCM connectors. These checks should be completed before installation.
The emulator connects through a plug-and-play harness at the white BCM connector. There is no need to cut or solder wires. Installation instructions are provided after purchase; follow the guidance supplied for your selected version.
Choose Short or Long in the product selector. The package contains the emulator and connection harness for that version. The selector shows the applicable price before you add the product to the basket.
Mode 1: Freeze. Mileage accumulation is completely stopped. The speedometer briefly displays 20 km/h to confirm that Freeze has been selected.
Mode 2: Bypass. Normal mileage recording is restored. A brief 40 km/h speedometer indication confirms the Bypass selection.
After the short confirmation, the speedometer displays actual vehicle speed in both modes. Cruise control remains functional. The confirmation reading is temporary and should be distinguished from the actual speed shown afterwards.
The Trailblazer must be stationary with the engine running whenever you switch modes. Either flash the high beams four times or press the traction-control button three times. Preferably complete the chosen sequence within four seconds and check the resulting speedometer indication.
The module is initially active in Freeze when connected to the vehicle. It then remembers the last selected mode through ignition cycles, so you do not need to reselect it at each start.
A complete Freeze → Bypass → Freeze cycle adds exactly 300 metres to the odometer while stationary. Account for this distance increment in your testing records. Do not operate the mode-selection controls while the vehicle is moving.
This listing covers Chevrolet Trailblazer GMT31XX 2015–2022 with the required seven-connector BCM. The white connector must be used; an eight-connector BCM is incompatible.
No. Three traction-control button presses are the alternative to four high-beam flashes. Perform either sequence only while stationary with the engine running, preferably within four seconds.
The last selected mode is retained. Freeze is the initial setting when the emulator is first connected, rather than a setting you must choose again at every start.
Yes. Completing the full Freeze → Bypass → Freeze cycle adds exactly 300 metres while stationary. Keep a record of completed cycles when assessing your test results.

Two modes: Freeze and Bypass
With the vehicle stationary and the engine running, use either 4 high-beam flashes or 3 traction-control button presses, preferably within 4 seconds. The speedometer briefly indicates 20 km/h for Freeze or 40 km/h for Bypass, then returns to actual speed.

The module initially starts in Freeze and remembers the last selected mode.
Each complete Freeze → Bypass → Freeze cycle adds exactly 300 metres to the odometer while stationary.
For off-road, closed-track and dyno testing only.

Switch only while stationary, with the engine running.
