Prepare your Chevrolet Tahoe for controlled off-road, closed-track or dyno testing with a two-mode mileage blocker. This version is listed for 2014–2020 GMTK2XX/GMTK2UC vehicles and requires the BCM arrangement described below. Freeze completely stops mileage accumulation, while Bypass allows the vehicle to record distance normally.
This product is for off-road, closed-track and dyno testing only. It must not be used on public roads or to misrepresent recorded mileage or vehicle history.
Check more than the model name before ordering. The Tahoe must have a Body Control Module (BCM) with seven connectors. A BCM fitted with eight connectors is incompatible. Count the connectors on the actual vehicle rather than assuming compatibility from the production year.
The emulator connects to the white BCM connector, not the grey connector. If you need help identifying it, provide CEL with the model, production year, a dashboard photograph and clear photographs of the BCM connections. Resolve any uncertainty before selecting a version.
Installation uses the white BCM connection and is plug-and-play: no wire cutting or soldering is required. Instructions are sent after purchase so that you can follow the installation guidance for the version you receive.
The product selector offers Short and Long versions. Each selected version includes the emulator and its connection harness. Review your selection before ordering; the selector displays the price for that version.
Freeze (Mode 1) completely stops mileage accumulation. Selecting it produces a brief 20 km/h indication on the speedometer.
Bypass (Mode 2) restores normal mileage recording. A brief 40 km/h indication confirms that this mode has been selected.
After either confirmation, the speedometer returns to displaying actual speed. Cruise control remains functional. The temporary 20 or 40 km/h reading is a mode indication rather than a change to the actual speed display during testing.
Stop the vehicle and keep the engine running before changing modes. Use either four high-beam flashes or three traction-control button presses, preferably completing the selected sequence within four seconds. Both control methods are available for this model.
Freeze is active when the emulator is initially connected. Thereafter, the last selected mode is retained through ignition cycles. You do not need to repeat your selection at every engine start.
Each complete Freeze → Bypass → Freeze cycle adds exactly 300 metres to the odometer while the vehicle is stationary. Include that increment in your test records. Mode changes must only be performed while stationary with the engine running.
No. This product requires the seven-connector BCM arrangement and its white connector. The eight-connector arrangement is not supported.
No. The required connection is the white BCM connector. If the connector colours or arrangement are unclear, send photographs for assistance before installing the module.
No. Those values appear briefly to confirm Freeze or Bypass. The display then returns to actual vehicle speed.
Note the selected mode and any full Freeze → Bypass → Freeze cycle. Each completed cycle adds exactly 300 metres, even though switching is performed with the Tahoe stationary.

Two modes: Freeze and Bypass
With the vehicle stationary and the engine running, use either 4 high-beam flashes or 3 traction-control button presses, preferably within 4 seconds. The speedometer briefly indicates 20 km/h for Freeze or 40 km/h for Bypass, then returns to actual speed.
