Chevrolet Camaro 6th Gen Mileage Blocker: 2016–2022

This mileage blocker is designed for compatible Chevrolet Camaro 6th Gen vehicles from 2016–2022 with a seven-connector Body Control Module (BCM). It offers Freeze and Bypass modes for off-road, closed-track and dyno testing. Check the BCM configuration before choosing your version.

Compatibility and Connector Identification

The BCM must have seven connectors. An eight-connector BCM is not compatible. The module connects to the white BCM connector, not the grey connector. The model name and year alone are not enough to confirm fitment: check both the connector count and the connection colour.

Plug-and-Play Installation

The emulator connects at the white BCM connector using a plug-and-play connection. No cutting or soldering is required. Installation instructions are supplied after purchase. Choose the appropriate Short or Long version when ordering.

Operating Modes and Speedometer Indication

• Mode 1 — Freeze: completely stops mileage accumulation while active. The speedometer briefly shows 20 km/h to confirm this mode.
• Mode 2 — Bypass: restores normal mileage recording. The speedometer briefly shows 40 km/h to confirm this mode.

After the brief confirmation, the speedometer returns to displaying actual vehicle speed. Cruise control remains functional.

On initial connection, the emulator starts in Freeze. It retains the last selected mode after switching the vehicle off and restarting.

Changing Modes While Stationary

Change modes only while the vehicle is stationary and the engine is running. Either flash the high beams four times or press the traction-control button three times. Preferably complete the chosen sequence within four seconds. Use the brief speedometer indication to confirm your selection.

Important: a complete Freeze → Bypass → Freeze cycle adds exactly 300 metres to the odometer while the vehicle is stationary. Include this increment in your test records. Do not change modes while driving.

Versions and Package

Short and Long versions are available. The package contains the emulator and the connection harness for the selected version. Follow the installation guidance supplied after purchase.

Completing the full Freeze → Bypass → Freeze cycle adds exactly 300 metres while stationary. The module then operates in Freeze.
