BMW X3 F25 Mileage Blocker

This plug-and-play BMW X3 F25 mileage blocker is for the listed 2010–2017 vehicles and controlled off-road, closed-track and dyno testing. The product retains its Short and Long cable choices. A later software update can affect the limited mode speed display, even when the vehicle was built before the update date.

Compatibility and installation

For the supported X3 F25 range of 2010–2017, no connector or cluster image is required to choose this product. Its plug-and-play connections avoid wire cutting and soldering. You receive the installation instructions after purchasing the module.

Short and Long packages

The Short option is the standard cable setup. Long includes a longer cable with a quick-disconnect connection and an accompanying dummy plug. This provides the normal connection when the emulator is disconnected.

Operating profiles and memory

Freeze is active on first connection. Profile changes use four quick high-beam flashes and are acknowledged by hazard flashes. The last mode remains stored across ignition cycles; the individual cards describe the four confirmations.

Can the speedometer show less than actual speed?

In the limited mode for a 2018+ software update, yes: it reads 10% of actual speed. At 50 km/h actual, the display reads 5 km/h. The remaining driver assistance functions work normally.
