BMW 6 Series F12/F13 Mileage Blocker

For the BMW 6 Series F12/F13 from 2011–2018, this plug-and-play mileage blocker provides Freeze, limited recording and Bypass profiles for controlled off-road, closed-track and dyno testing. Both cable versions use the operating behaviour described below. The Long version adds a quick-disconnect connection with a dummy plug supplied in the package.

Compatibility and installation

The supported 6 Series application is F12/F13, 2011–2018. No cluster or connector pictures are required for the stated fitment. The module installs with plug-and-play connections, without cutting or soldering, and the fitting instructions are supplied following purchase.

Short and Long packages

Short provides the regular cable configuration. Long supplies greater cable length and a quick-disconnect connection. Its included dummy plug provides the normal connection when you no longer want the emulator connected.

Operating profiles and memory

Start-up on first connection selects Freeze; later operation remembers the last chosen setting. Four quick high-beam flashes are used for profile selection. Hazard indications correspond to the four mode cards, from a single flash through to four flashes.

What happens to speed display with updated software?

With the 2018+ update, the limited profile shows one tenth of real speed. Thus 50 km/h actual speed reads 5 km/h. All assistants remain available; use the appropriate mode information during testing.
